



MISSION STATEMENT
To collect, preserve, and exhibit the World¹s most comprehensive collection
of North American Television Receivers, from the formative, first fifty year
period between the 1920s & 1970s. To contribute to the understanding of the
impact of television. To help tell the story of television.
RELATED GOALS
To accumulate relevant books, magazines, videos, discs, photographs,
personal papers and ephemera. To provide a learning resource.
FEATURES
A Collection of 300 TV sets of which, at any one time, ± 40 rotate through a
permanent, chronologically organized exhibit called Watching TV.
The remaining sets, along with assorted ephemera and memorabilia will be
periodically featured in the museum Gallery area, with additional themed
tableaux in the CHUMCity Building.
